Accompanied Home Service

This service is particularly beneficial to those who do not have their own transportation upon arrival. After conducting an in-depth needs analysis, we will pick-up and take our clients to their shortlisted properties, schools, kindergarten and childcare facilities if applicable.

The Accompanied Home Service includes:

Comprehensive briefing process-

Communication is conducted prior to the client’s arrival via email, telephone or Skype/Face time, to obtain a verbal briefing of their preferred housing and schooling requirements. Further to this a detailed relocation questionnaire is then provided for the client to confirm their housing/education criteria.   

Quotes and Advice

Quotes and advice regarding short term accommodation options (if required)
Referral and assistance with associated removalists and furniture hire companies (if required)

Property search and selection – Once the area and type of home you require has been established, a selection of properties available on the market will be provided for appropriate inspection.

Communication with property managers – RWR will liaise accordingly with the property manager/real estate agent to access the homes for inspection on your behalf. RWR can conduct inspections on a private basis (one on one) with the property manager if the property is vacant or if the current tenants are flexible to opening their property outside listed open times

Negotiations with Property Managers– RWR will assist in negotiating on your behalf  an appropriate weekly rental amount on the desired property. This will also include length of tenancy, date of entry and cleaning or decorating requirements.

Accompanied viewing days – An RWR Consultant will collect their client/s from their hotel accommodation, and accompany them on house viewings and provide  assistance with the property selection process.

Referral to/or arrangement of associated relocation services – i.e. preferred removal companies, furniture rentals and pet carriers.

RWR can assist in transferring and connection of utilities into the clients name if this has not been completed by the property manager prior.

Approval of Tenancy Agreement and tenancy administration

Tenancy Monitoring – reminders of break clause and renewal dates, plus assistance with communications with agent/landlord regarding obligations and duties client is responsible for under the terms of tenancy agreements

Information on schooling in Melbourne focusing on types of schooling available, curriculum, examinations, entry procedures, registration and fees.

Assessment of needs to ascertain specific requirements (e.g. primary or secondary school, state or independent school, preferred gender mix of school, specific requirements of the individual children)

School search and selection of short-listed schools with the benefits on each. As some state schools are zoned (area boundaries) RWR will provide the boundaries and zoning information on each institution.

Accompanied Visits to a selection of appropriate schools with a consultant.

Advice on the availability of student enrolment within those schools, and co-ordination of any required interview process.

Organising registration with chosen schools, confirming enrolment with schools and assisting with the completion of associated application forms.
